Larger than the kids' pouches, FruitBreak products are made with fruit and all-natural ingredients that adults love like Strawberry Banana, Coconut Milk and Raspberry, and Peach and Greek Yogurt. Simple ingredient bars Balance Bar released a line of nutrition bars made with simple ingredients, including whole nuts and fruits, called Bare. The Bare line aims to keep the body energized and feeling at its best. Available in three flavors — Mixed Berry Nut, Sea Salt Caramel Nut, and Sweet and Spicy Nut — the Bare bars are non- GMO, certified gluten-free, soy free and vegetarian, in addition to two of the bars being dairy free and vegan. Pumpkin seeds BIGS Home-Style Roasted Pumpkin Seeds are non-GMO seeds from Willamette Valley, Ore., an area known for growing plump sweet pumpkin seeds. They are made without artificial flavors and preservatives. BIGS are roasted using a special home-style process and are available in two flavors: Lightly Salted and new Cinnamon and Sugar. This on-trend superfood snack has a suggested retail price of $3.49 and can be effectively merchandised in produce, deli, snack and checkout aisles as well as part of better-for-you displays. Warrell adds the new Old Bay-flavored peanuts to its Cravemmm! line of gourmet sweet and savory snacks, targeted to the on- the-go consumer. Old Bay's distinctive blend of 18 herbs and spices pairs well with Warrell's sweet butter-toasted peanut. All Cravemmm! varieties are sold in convenient 12-count display caddies suitable for shelf or countertop retailing, and they are also hole-punched to enable peg display. The suggested retail price is $1.99. The Warrell Corp. Camp Hill, Pa. Bean chip The Good Bean Inc. debuted its newest snack product, Bean Chips with Sweet Potato + Quinoa. Beans contain protein and fiber, but can be transformed into crunchy chips that rival the taste and texture of tortilla chips. The Good Bean added superfoods quinoa and sweet potatoes to its bean chips for a healthy, tasty twist. The Good Bean's chips are also available in Sea Salt, BBQ Bacon, Sweet Chili, Nacho, and Jalapeno Cheddar flavors. The Good Bean Inc. Berkeley, Calif. Flavored popcorns Pop Art Snacks' flavored popcorn varieties expanded its retail presence with the addition of World Markets and select Safeway stores. Pop Art Snacks' lineup includes Rosemary Truffle, Nori Sesame, Tandoori Yogurt, White Pepper Parmesan, and Thai Coconut Curry. Pop Art Snacks gourmet popcorn is air-popped with organic, GMO-free corn and seasoned with all-natural herbs and spices. The popcorn is also certified gluten-free, contains no trans fat and MSG, and is a good source of whole grains. Pop Art Popcorn is priced at $3.99 per 5-oz. bag in stores. Pop Art Snacks Salt Lake City, Utah Fruit and veggie snack for kids Bolthouse Farms launched Bolthouse Farms Kids, a line of kids' snacks based around fruits and vegetables with no added preservatives. The new refrigerated snacking destination created by Bolthouse Farms is intended to drive an evolution in kids' snacking habits with more kids reaching for better-for-you options in the refrigerator. The line will feature seven unique products across three categories – Smoothies, Fruit Tubes, and Veggie Snackers – designed to appeal to parents of children ages 4-11. Bolthouse Farms Bakersfield, Calif. Half-popped popcorn Halfpops unveiled two new flavors – Caramel & Sea Salt and Chipotle Barbeque. The varieties start with non- GMO corn kernels that are half-popped and seasoned with natural flavors and ingredients. They are gluten-free, have no preservatives, corn syrup, hydrogenated oils or artificial flavors, along with being nut-free. Both flavors have 130 calories per serving. The new varieties join Halfpops' existing offerings of Aged White Cheddar and Butter and Pure Ocean Sea Salt.
